This is the core Sir Walter Scott walking tour of Edinburgh.
It follows thirteen carefully chosen locations in the historic centre of the city — from Scott’s birthplace in the Old Town to the monument that now defines the skyline.
Designed to take around 90 minutes (longer if you linger), this route introduces the essential places that shaped Scott’s life and literary achievement.
